Margie Cantwell

Margie A. Cantwell, 79, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, died Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at her home, following a brief illness. At her request there will be no visitation or memorial services. Her body has been cremated. The Olson - Powell Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements. The daughter of Darrell Ross and Donna Pearl Thomas, Margie Althea was born on October, 27, 1931, in Hancock County, IL. On March 15, 1964, she married Jack Cantwell in Monmouth, IL. Margie worked as a supervisor for Motorola until 1997 when she retired after 23 years of service. She enjoyed watching motorcycle racing. Along with her husband, Jack, survivors include a daughter, Traina Lindsey of Mt. Pleasant, IA; a step-daughter, Kimberly Modak of Palm Bay, FL; a step-son, Kurt Cantwell of Mojave, CA; and a grandson, Tony Watkins of Mt. Pleasant. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
