Dawson James Simpson, stillborn son of Jessica Rohde and David Simpson, of Mt. Pleasant, IA, died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Henry County Health Center. A family memorial service is planned for a later date at Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel. On-line condolences may be directed to www.olsonpowell.com. Along with his parents, Dawson is survived by a brother, Landon Rohde of Mt. Pleasant, IA; his maternal grandmother, Cheryl Rohde of Mt. Pleasant, IA; his paternal grandfather, David Simpson Sr. of Columbia, MO; and an aunt, Jordan Aplara of Mt. Pleasant, IA.
